It's time to start a weight loss program you can live with for the rest of your life. One that takes the weight off quickly, one you can live with, and one that is permanent.

Are you tired of the cycle of crash dieting?

You can break the cycle!

Crash dieting never works. They don't give you enough calories in the day for you to feel energized and give you enough nutrients to keep you going. These diets don't work because no one can survive on them, and your body actually feels something has gone amuk and your metabolism will slow down. That's one thing you don't want when you are trying to lose weight...a sluggish metabolism.

Lose weight and stay healthy and happy.

You need a weight loss plan that will teach you how to make healthy food choices. One that you never have to be hungry, and also will show you how to find exercises that you actually enjoy doing, so that you can fit them into your lifestyle.

Need to lose some pounds quickly? That class reunion is in 2 weeks and your former classmates will never recognize you? You then need a diet that has a diet generator that lets you choose your foods from a list of healthy foods that will drop the pounds quickly.

Ready for a more long-term goal? Go to that class reunion looking good but continue with your healthy weight loss diet so last year's swim suit slips on with ease, and look great at those backyard pool parties. And best of all, still remain your perfect size for the end of year holidays!

Everyone is different and most diets don't consider this. A 130 pound woman does not need the same amount of calories as a 200 pound male. They also do not need the same types of foods during the day. They have a different genetic history, exercise habits and metabolism rate.

They will need different diet plans. We are all different and need a diet plan that is molded for each of us.

In other words, you need to personalize your meal plans so that they work for you. Vegetarian? No problem. Hate dairy products? Don't have to eat them. A fussy teenager who still has that "baby fat" that at 18 is not so "cute" anymore. Are you a new mom? The baby has arrived, the baby belly has to go.

3 pieces of broccoli and some fish the size of a gold fish for dinner? Ya sure, not enough. You need a diet plan that allows you to eat until you are satisfied or you will be starving, unhappy, and off that diet in no time. A diet should help you learn how to eat your food slowly and enjoy it, so that you can really understand what your body is telling you and know when you've had enough. Learning portion sizes that work for you is a key to long-term weight loss. You can count calories and measure your portions for a week but not long term. It gets old fast.

A good healthy diet plan should teach you all about food groups, vitamins and minerals so that you can understand why you should be eating what when. Its so much easier to stay with a diet plan when you know the reasons why. A diabetic who understands what all those carbs can do to the body will have a better chance of following that diet than one who was not taught the reasons behind the diet. The diet should also include an exercise plan to improve your overall health. Sometimes that means just throwing yourself out the door for a walk and yes, sometimes I have to throw myself out but I do because I understand the reasons behind the action. Also, if you exercise, you can eat MORE.

A diet should help you become healthier, lose weight, and look better. But most diets are unrealistic and after a couple of weeks you slip back into the old ways and gain the pounds back. Its not your fault really. How much grapefruit can a person eat? Or how long can you go on 2 bowls of cereal and then one main meal a day?

Find a diet that will teach you about food, nutrition and exercise. A diet that makes sense and that you can follow through with.

When you start to grow older, several changes take place in your body - and these changes often work as a chain reaction. One change leads to another. These changes take place in both men and women and contribute to the aging process.

Men usually notice these changes first when they begin to experience lower levels of the testosterone hormone. Their sex drive is off, they don't feel the same physically and emotionally and they may begin to see baldness occur.

Women lose estrogen, but they also lose DHEA. This hormone is found in the adrenals and is doled out to different hormones within the body. DHEA works as a control tower to help other hormones do what they're supposed to do.

Without enough DHEA, your metabolism gets wacky and you end up not being able to burn fat the way you used to - which in turn leads to weight gain. DHEA can keep aging moving at a slower rate - and having enough of this hormone helps stabilize muscles and fight against bone density loss. It gives energy and improves sex drive.

With the lessening of certain hormones, your body just simply doesn't function the way it should and the aging process kicks in. As these levels of hormones drop, you lose the benefit that hormones give the body.

You have to have testosterone and estrogen in your battle against aging, but there's another hormone you need, too. As you get older, you begin to have lower levels of the human growth hormone (or HGH).

Not having enough HGH robs the body of energy and weakens muscles. Without enough of this hormone, the skin will sag and bag and wrinkles and lines multiply. You begin to develop bone and joint problems and can experience problems with your heart.

You have to have the proper hormones in order to prevent inflammations and serious health risks associated with aging. Taking hormones like HGH helps the skin hold on to its suppleness.

It prevents hair loss - and this hormone is also beneficial to the immune system. For men, HGH works to fight against erectile dysfunction. This hormone can increase energy and improve memory function.

Testosterone is needed for energy and slows the aging process. It's also needed in order to keep muscles strong. Estrogen hormones keep the memory strong, fights against heart attacks and adds to longevity. It also prevents aging of the skin. Without enough estrogen, both hair and skin can begin to thin.

Another hormone with beneficial anti aging properties is melatonin. This hormone has antioxidants that fight against aging. It protects against cell damage both inside and outside the body. Supplements containing these hormones can provide anti aging benefits for you, but always check with your doctor before taking any type of supplement.

The summertime is a great time not only to shed some layers of clothing but also to shed some pounds. Many people undergo summertime diets in order to feel lighter and to look better in a bikini. A great way to start a healthy diet is to enjoy the fruits and vegetables of the season.

Some of the best summer diet foods include tomatoes and red peppers. Both of these fruits are rich in vitamin A, vitamin C and lycopene. A medium size tomato contains approximately 35 calories, very low carbs, 40% of daily vitamin C intake, and 20% of daily vitamin A intake. A top of its nutritional value, tomatoes also reduce the risk of prostate and digestive tract cancer. Peppers on the other hand, are rich in the antioxidant known as beta carotene. Beta carotene boosts the immune system and prevents the body from cell damage caused by free radicals. Peppers also provide the body with exceptional amounts of vitamin C. Just half a cup of peppers contain 230% of the daily vitamin C intake. So try to incorporate some of these fruit into your daily diet in order to boost your health and reduce your weight.

Some other excellent diet foods include yogurt and fiber packed beans. Yogurt is beneficial to your diet because it is loaded with calcium and protein. There are numerous choices out there today when it comes to yogurt. The most important thing to remember is to choose a yogurt that is fat free or reduced fat. The taste remains the same but the calories are cut in half. Another great diet food is beans. Beans are packed with fiber and protein which makes them a great alternative to heavy meats. If you found your summer diet to be unsuccessful, try incorporating some of these great diet foods into your nutritional regimen.

It is never too late to start working to "reverse" your age. While you may have felt the need to try out some of the anti aging supplements like HGH anti aging hormones and the likes, you should seriously think of easier cost-effective measures that will add to your youthfulness on day to day basis.

When to Begin Investing in Anti Aging Activities

Measures to give body the ability to defy aging begin really early in life. Your health in later part of the life will depend very much on how you have been caring for it routinely. Having said this, it is not too late even in later part of life to deduct years from your real age as you race past your fifties or even sixties.

Lifestyle Changes

The best way to start is to look at your habits that create obstructions to your body's efforts of keeping each and every of the cells "young". Let us look at important factors that may have encouraged that aged look on your face.

Smoking: It is no secret that smoking shortens the life besides creating ill effects in the body. Examples like lung cancer, COPD, heart related problems, diseased gums, etc are perfect examples of "prizes" that smoking gives to the body. Happily, the damage begins to reverse once you cease smoking. So, take an oath right now to stop smoking, and you will have done one of the greatest favors to yourself in your quest to a better health.

Adequate Sleep: Modern lifestyle and workload of the office keeps many of us awake till late. Not getting adequate sleep (7 to 9 hours daily) deprives the body of getting a chance to carry out repairs to damaged cells. Obviously, the more damaged cells we have, more "tired and exhausted" will we appear. In contrast, fully energized cells in your body will be manifested in your being a live-wire individual. Remember, we have only 24 hours daily within which to fit our schedules - sleep is one such schedule that should not be ignored.

Nutrition Needs: Eat a balanced diet and take supplements. Nutrition plays a vital role in healthy aging and longevity. It should be a matter of habit to balance your meals in such a way that you provide food that contains macro as well as micro nutrients required daily by your body, besides plenty of water. Among macro nutrients, you need carbohydrates (about 65%), proteins(up o 20%) and fats( 8-10%); micro nutrients include vitamins, minerals and other trace elements. Adequate intake of fibers is also important. This is found primarily in vegan sources.

Physical Activities: While you may find it a bit of a hassle going to gym, you need to give adequate exercise to your body parts. Devise ways and means of incorporating physical activities in your daily routines, e.g. walking to your grocery store, cycling to the library, parking your car some distance away from your destination, and walking the rest of the way, etc. Physical activities and exercises strengthens the muscles and prevents early slowing down of various organs in the body. A simple example is the difference between the ability of an active person to walk long distances or carry out hard tasks and the ability of a sedate person to undertake same feats. Always remember that a horse that is not exercised daily will die very early.

Mental Activities: These play an important role in keeping a person "young", even in old age. This is truer in your retirement; you need to engage in activities that keep your brain rattling. Brain activity has a psychological impact on physical activities and therefore the physical appearance. An old and feeble person will be slow in reacting to events whereas a similarly old but mentally alert person will be swift in his reaction.

What About Anti Aging Supplements?

You could look at taking anti aging supplements if you do feel tiring effects of age, but you must promise to yourself that you will make necessary changes in lifestyle to help your body kickstart rejuvenating cells in your body. It may take some time, you are sure to experience the anti aging results.

Autumn is a month where the fruits in the super markets start to change and the ice cream counters are reduced to hold Christmas party things such as mince pies and savoury party snacks.

Autumn food can be just as delicious as summer food if planned correctly. Salads can still be made but instead of cold fillings why not have a warmed tossed salad with a warm meat or dressing served with warm toasted baguettes and butter.

Warm crumbles with winter berries are very popular and easy to make. They make a great addition to any meal and taste wonderful.

For the quick way warm up the fruit in a pan or microwave until they are soft apply two table spoons of sugar and gently heat again. Use a crumble mix pre-made to add water and pour over the top, place in the oven until browned and enjoy with ice-cream, custard, or whipped cream.

Everyone makes it different but to make it all from scratch using fruits that are fresh and in season follow a cookery book or measures and quantities.

A popular autumn meal is casseroles served hot with fresh vegetables and dumplings. A slow cooker is an ideal way to cook and prepare a casserole. Choose vegetables that give off a lovely flavour when slowly simmered such as onions, carrots, celery, Swede and many more. Place in with a meat or quorn alternative of your choice and add a casserole mix packet for added flavour place on the lid and leave, go to work etc. After around 4 hours the meal is cooked beautifully and ready to add the dumplings, serve hot.

There is no set meal for any season but autumn is well known for stews, casseroles, soups broths and warmer dishes to take off the chill. Many famous cook and chefs bring out book with dishes inspired for autumn.
